GREGG DAVID WENZEL
I have known and loved the Wenzel family for over 40 years, and continue to be a part of their lives even though we are distant in miles. Gladys and I grew up together and became close friends in our late teens. We attended each others weddings and were there for the birth of each or our children.
Even through difficult times, we continued our relationship and made sure that we were there for each other. I cherish what we have, a real, honest and loving friendship that surpasses friendship and becomes family.
This is a very special family.
As these tributes state, Gregg was a very special person. I see him in my eyes as an adorable baby, toddler, teen, student and exceptional man. I hear in my ears his funny stories whenever I would see him here in Florida. I smell the ocean as I remember him swimming miles along the shore line with his Dad. He obviously left very strong memories for me as he did for so many.
His tributes are exemplary. I know that his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of so many wonderful friends, neighbors, business and religious associates, coworkers, and above all family. I was privileged to attend a memorial service in August in which his Florida legal family paid the most astonishing tribute that I have ever heard. Their love and caring and concern for this unique associate was heartfelt and honest and very giving. The shul that he attended and so fervently loved continue to pay tribute to his excellence and devotion.
I will miss him and want the family to know that I will be with them in heart, mind and spirit forever.
With love,
