Please accept my condolences on the loss of your son, brother, and my friend Gregg Wenzel.

Gregg and I met at Binghamton University via our mutual friend Howard Abrahams. Gregg was quite a character - smart and hysterical. He seemed to be involved in everything - swimming, Chabad, Bar promoting. In our law school years, Howard and I stayed with Gregg in his Miami apartment - had great times at Coconut Grove and a spur of the moment road trip to Orlando for a few hours. I remember being amazed at how a guy from Monroe NY seemed to rise so quickly to become the un-appointed mayor of Miami Law School. In fact, at that time I think he was running for the presidency of the school just for kicks (and a few perks). Over the past 6 years or so, Gregg and I lost contact on any regular basis - he attended my wedding and I saw him at the weddings and bachelor parties of some other friends over that time. Despite our distance and lack of contact for many months at a time, Gregg and I would talk as if we were still close college buddies who would hang out daily. In short, Gregg was a lot of fun and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
