GREGG DAVID WENZEL
We were so proud of you and hope you know that you will always be a part of us. What can I say about my son to all of you that you do not already know? Each one of us was filled by his joy, zest for life, and the way he engulfed life. He traveled where ever he could go and enjoyed every moment of life with sensitivity, warmth and a great abundance of energy.

Gregg, everyone is here and you have touched people all over the world. You stood out as a genuine person and everyone that knew you, knew that there was nothing fake or phony about you. When you walked into a room all you had to do was grin and says “why is every one so serious” and you already made us laugh. You also made everyone’s lives more interesting.

You were so close to us. Dad and you did everything together and the highlight was crossing the finish line together in Panama City at the Ironman. You and I have connected with our belief in Judaism. It filled our lives and you taught me so much. You loved his Jewish life and being Jewish. You added excitement to our lives. We love you and you know it. You always made us proud of you.

You always tried new things and painting was one. However, your true talent and passion was photography. Your pictures were always amazing and mostly showed the human side of people.

Gregg loved everyone and helped everyone. He would take the shirt off his back for you if you needed it. He cared about everyone. He was never into materialistic things and his favorite saying and personal philosophy was that “things don’t have feelings, people do.”

You spent your life doing wonderful things but the best was your work for God. You took care of me and cared about all.
Gregg was intelligent and loved his family. Gregg loved his career but hated being away from all of us and all of the family events. He loved his country and always told us to stand up for all the people who defended our country and what they do to keep us safe and sound. We loved him. He lived life and was always looking for an adventure. You never left one moment of each day un-used.

I cannot imagine my life without him but he would want all of us to move forward and live. He was so alive. He devoured life.

Hashem is proud of you and I know that your soul is with him. You will always be a part of us but please continue to take care of us. We need it.

I love you my son forever and your smile will always be with me.
